Week 9 Notices

When we had the rice lunch, children were asked to bring along a money donation to be used for the coin trail which is this coming Friday. All money was collected and the children who brought money to school will get the same amount back on Friday to place on the coin trail. If you still wish to donate money to the Solomon Islands, bring along some coins on Friday. Children can also wear mufti on Friday.

Swimming:
We will be swimming this week (mostly at school except for Tuesday). On Tuesday, children will walk to the Aquatic Centre for their last one hour swimming lesson and assessment. We will begin walking just after 9am and be back at school by 11.45am. Please make sure you bring togs and towel every day this week.

Mufti day and coin trail on Friday.

Homework has been set for the next two weeks.

Week 8 Notices

Homework due this Friday. Well done to all those children who have been working hard on IXL maths. Room 1 have completed over 5000 tasks as of Saturday the 22nd of March. There is one week trial period to go.

Annunciation Liturgy: Tuesday 25 March, 10am in the church.

Library: Monday - bring your books.

No swimming this week. Next week on the 1st of April, Room 1 will be walking to the Aquatic Centre for a 1 hour lesson and assessment. We will leave at 9am. If any parents would like to accompany us on the walk to the Aquatic Centre, please let Mrs Nieuwboer know this week.

Tuesday 25th March is our Humble Rice Day for the senior school. During Lent, we think of those who are less fortunate than us especially those who do not have enough food to eat. Children can bring crackers for morning tea and we will supply children with cooked rice at lunchtime.

Week 7 Notices

Swimming:
We will be swimming this week from Monday - Thursday.

St Joseph's Mass:
Friday 21st March at 9am. All welcome.

Library:
Every Monday - bring your books back to swap.

Home Reading:
For those on the Home Reading programme, please bring your books back on Friday. Make sure you read every night and get an adult to sign your notebook.

Week 6 Notices

Swimming Sports:
Thursday 13 March at the Aquatic Centre from 9.00am - 2.30pm. Children will need to be dropped off and picked up from the Aquatic Centre. Drop off is at 8.45am. Bring your morning tea, lunch and a huge drink. The PTA will also be holding a sausage sizzle $1.50 each.
Bring two towels as you might get cold using a wet towel between swims, togs, extra sunscreen and a hat.

Library:
Bring your books back on Monday to swap during library time. The library is also open on Tuesday and Thursday at lunchtimes.

Home Reading:
If you are on the Home Reading Programme, make sure that you read your books every night and get an adult to sign the notebook. Bring your pack of books back on Friday.

Homework:
Homework is due on Friday 14th of March.

Week 5 Notices

Swimming:
We will be swimming this week (except Wednesday).

School Leaders:
There will be a ceremony on Monday at 1.30pm in the hall. Families welcome.

Parent Meeting:
Mr Macmillan, Mr Volschenk and Mrs Cato will be available to answer any questions regarding our school. Meeting will be on Monday afternoon in the staffroom from
2.30 - 3.00pm.

Ash Wednesday Liturgy:
Wednesday 10.00am in St Mary's Church

Sun Hats:
Sun hats are compulsory during Terms 1 and 3. Please make sure your child has a named hat at school at all times.
