Hit It on a cold morning

This morning we had PE where we were out on the courts and it was freezing. Some of us thought we would be ok in bare feet but it was far too cold. We had to run back to our classroom to put our shoes on.

Putting our shoes on again.

Learning the correct grip.

Concentrating on hitting the ball.

Ni Hao,

I am looking forward to meeting all students and parents over the next few weeks. I am excited to be back in the St Mary's community along with my wife Cindy and children Mackenzie and Samuel. Here is a link to our travelling blog.

It is going to be fun getting to know students who I have not yet taught as well as meeting up again with students who have been in my classes previously.  I know you will all be able to help me settle into Room 1 by being helpful and understanding if things are a bit different.

Thank you

Thank you for the lovely send off last Friday. I received so many presents and beautiful flowers (see photos below). Another wonderful surprise was the 'secret' morning tea which was definitely a surprise for me. Thank you to Rachel Schuster for organising the morning tea with the children and a number of equally devious staff members. Thank you to you all!

I wish you all a great holiday.

Kind Regards Mrs Nieuwboer
